Books and Socks

“Another Christmas has come and gone and I didn't get a single pair [of socks]. People will insist on giving me books.”
{Albus Dumbledore ~ J.K. Rowling}
Great books and super fun socks are two of my favorite things! I hope all of you were good girls and boys this year so that Santa Claus was good to you in return. ;) Have a wonderful week!
“He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree.”

Happy Monday and happy writing, Zigzaggers!!!

Love that quote, Laura! And I loved how JKR used something simple like socks to represent so much in her first books especially...like Dobby's sock of freedom.

Hope you had a great Christmas!

Hehehe that's one of my favorite HP quotes.

Books are my favorite gifts, but this year was really special, because the gifts came from everyone's hearts.

Hope you had a great Christmas. :-)

Susan- I agree! She uses socks quite a few times for different things throughout the books. Next time I re-read them I'll have to pay closer attention to what they all are.

Misha- I love getting books, too! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Dianne- I sure did! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, too!

Alex- I sure did and I hope you had a great Christmas, too!

Diane- I love socks! The slipper ones are always fun. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Saumya- I know, I love everything that eccentric wizard says!
