I have all of the Calvin and Hobbes treasury collections, and this is one of my favorites! I have it hanging on my wall above my desk. It reminds me to make small wishes and goals that are conceivably attainable. Everyone should have big wishes and “impossible” dreams, but it’s the achievement of the little dreams that help make those big dreams possible.
So eat a sandwich and then get back to work. You can’t begin to plan on achieving ownership of a private continent without first filling your belly!

How wonderful! I loved Calvin and Hobbes. So much, we had two cats named Calvin and Hobbes when we got married.
Happy New Year, Laura! One of my close friends gave me a Calvin and Hobbes book in high school. I still read it when I'm feeling low and it always does the trick. Glad you have the collection!!

Darn it!!! I should have asked for Calvin and Hobbes treasuries for Christmas! Oh well there's always next year. I love those two guys. They've stayed my #1 favorite comic over all the years. And while I'm sure I've seen this one before, I didn't remember it, so thank you for this excellent wisdom with a smile!
