If you're not failing every now and again, it's a sign you're not doing anything very innovative.
{Woody Allen}
{Woody Allen}
Any man who keeps working is not a failure. He may not be a great writer, but if he applies the old-fashioned virtues of hard, constant labor, he'll eventually make some kind of career for himself as writer.
{Ray Bradbury}
{Ray Bradbury}
Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.
{Confucius}

Failure? I never encountered it. All I ever met were temporary setbacks.
{Dottie Walters}
{Dottie Walters}
Success comes to a writer, as a rule, so gradually that it is always something of a shock to him to look back and realize the heights to which he has climbed.
{P. G. Wodehouse}
{P. G. Wodehouse}
You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated.
{Maya Angelou}
Failure is just another way to learn how to do something right.
{Marian Wright Edelman}
I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
{Henry David Thoreau}
Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.

What is your favorite quote about writing success and overcoming writing snafus (screw-ups)?
Hope you’re having a happy weekend, Zigzaggers!

I like Ray's quote. For me, it's how it's defined and what you learn from the mistakes.
I like this one "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated." and saying the word snafu.

Why is it that I always feel compelled to say "Bless You" whenever I see that word? :)
Oh, I like the ones by Maya Angelou and Bradbury.
Maya Angelou is always brilliant. Always. :)
Nice quotes!:) Have to say I like Wodehouse's... maybe because I'm not certain whether there's a bit of sarcasm mixed in there:) Will be back to explore your earlier alphabets:)
The Walters quote is so true. If we keep trying, then we never meet with failure.
Loved the Wodehouse quote in particular. Here's my favorite:
“Success is moving from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.” ~ Sir Winston Churchill
great post!
my favorite quote is, "Write what you know." That essentially keeps me away from the snafus. That and the wine.
best,

Great quotes. I like the one by Wodehouse. I feel like I've climbed great heights.
The Maya Angelou and Woody Allen ones were my favorite. :)
Great quotes. Best, hmmm, that's a tough one. I like Allen's and Angelou's.

Great quotes. I also like "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." I believe Henry Ford said that one. Thanks for posting.
Anyone who quotes Dr Seuss has got me *grin* (following now).
I have "Never give up! Never Surrender !" from the movie Galaxy Quest pinned above my computer.
All great quotes.
