Monday Quote Day!

I begin a novel the same way I imagine a lot of working people begin their jobs, whether they’re plumbers or doctors or what: By asking, ‘What’s wrong here that I might repair?’
{Barbara Kingsolver}

The more I want to get something done, the less I call it work.
{Richard Bach}

Plot is no more than footprints left in the snow after your characters have run by on their way to incredible destinations.
{Ray Bradbury}

I think of life as a good book. The further you get into it, the more it begins to make sense.
{Harold Kushner}

The best travel is that which one can take by one’s own fireside, in memory or imagination.
{George Eliot}

Finish the day's writing when you still want to continue.
{Helen Dunmore}

It’s only despair, not delay, that does dreams in.
{Sarah Ban Breathnach}

Your story matters. It isn’t just three little words. It’s a way of life.
{Nikki Hyson}

Happy Monday and happy writing, Zigzaggers!

I like George Eliot's quote. I think many artists, especially writers, can live vicariously through their characters' adventures.
